Dorning Supply Company was founded in 1977, specifically to address the need for a supplier of cutting tools who also possesses in-depth machine shop know-how and understanding. We are cutting tool specialists.

Dorning Supply has built its business around solving customer tooling problems and meeting marketplace needs.

ABOUT OUR FOUNDER

Bill Dorning began his career as an apprentice in the tool and die shop at GE Aircraft Engine Division. As a tool and die maker and process engineer, he has applied the latest technologies in machining aluminum, steel and exotic alloys. Much of his CNC experience was gained as a Value Process Engineer developing tooling to machine high precision aircraft engine parts. He holds a degree in Industrial Management from the University of Cincinnati, and has worked in the industry for more than 30 years.
